Watch out for the blast of colours , skins and prints that is Ehssan's collection inspired by fierce women like Jane from Tarzan and the Korean beach volley player Zhan Xi. His jungle ladies are dressed in woven towels, patched leather and printed lycra and wear chunky bamboo sandals. Brazilian colours, cannabis leaves, Asian softdrink signs and all kinds of exotica are blended into this optimistic and energetic collection.
Many different hides and animal skins are patched onto vests and trousers, whereby Matisse's abstract forms were a point of departure for the shapes and the (ir)regularity. After a while, Ehssan followed a more spontaneous and personal approach creating more fluid and irregular shapes. Bamboo rings are used as gatherings for the draping of the fabrics and bamboo necklaces are but one of the accessories , next to tortoise sunglasses and towel headpieces. Enjoy the global energy of this JUNGLE EXXXOTICA.
